Let Apple Intelligence Find What You're Counting Down To ✨
Your calendar is full of things worth looking forward to, buried between dentist appointments and team meetings. Emoji Countdown can now find them for you with Apple Intelligence, and pick a fitting emoji for each one 🪄
How it works
- Tap the calendar button at the bottom of the main screen to open Import from Calendar.
- The first time, you’ll see a short note about what’s shared. Tap to continue.
- At the top, Suggested countdowns shows up to five upcoming events that look worth counting down to, soonest first 📅
- Tick the ones you want, change any emoji you’d like by tapping it, and tap Add.
That’s it. Your new countdowns appear on your timeline straight away 🎉
Below the suggestions you’ll still find every upcoming event from your calendar for the next year, grouped into This Week, Next Month and so on. Each one gets an emoji guessed for it too, and the search bar looks across both lists.
Suggestions that learn from you
Any suggestion you leave unticked when you tap Add won’t be suggested again, so the list stays fresh. Tap Cancel instead and they’ll still be there next time.
Your privacy 🔒
Suggestions use Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, which is built so that your data is only used for your request and isn’t stored. To make suggestions, Emoji Countdown sends the titles, dates and calendar names of your events for the next 12 months, and nothing else. The emoji for the rest of your calendar events are picked on your iPhone and never leave it.

- iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence turned on
- Emoji Countdown Pro, which also unlocks importing from your calendar
Apple gives each person a daily Apple Intelligence allowance. If you’ve used it up, the app tells you when it resets, and you can still import events by hand in the meantime.
